Golden Bells School celebrates Children's Day

Golden Bells Public School, Sector-77, Mohali today celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and exuberance. To commemorate the birth anniversary of great leader, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, students delivered inspiring speeches, sang songs and recited poems.
Tiny tots of the school went to excursion and enjoyed different fun games there.
The students of all the classes from class 1st – 12th participated whole heartedly in different kinds of fun races like frog race, bag packing race, back race, lemon spoon race, relay race, sack race etc. and bagged prizes.
Boys of class 9th & 10th had a gala time playing football match. All the spectators were cheering for their favourite teams.
Commerce students of classes 10+1 & 10+2 organised eatables stalls to learn business skills and to create a sense of discipline and responsibility amongst themselves.
At the end, the Chairman of the school, Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) gave away prizes to the winners. He encouraged the students to become responsible citizens as wished by Chacha Nehru and to follow the path shown by him. Free refreshment was given to all the children by management and staff.
