MOHALI, OCT 14
Golden Bells Public School, Sector-77, Mohali celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiam. The virtues of celebrating the festival were highlighted by the students.
Students celebrated the festival in their own unique and innovative style by making the effigy of Ravana out of the waste paper material by themselves, which added color to the festivity of the day.
The children brought alive the good and evil characters from the epic ‘Ramayana’ and thus presented a colourful fancy dress show. The celebration came to an end with the effigy of Ravana set on fire, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
In the end, the Chairman of the school, Col. C.S. Bawa (Retd.) wished the children and staff members a joyous Dussehra and encouraged them to follow the path of righteousness in all walks of life.
