DPS Pinjore rejoices on 61st Republic Day

PINJORE (HARYANA), Jan 26

The 61st Republic Day was celebrated with a patriotic fervor in the beautifully decorated school premises today. The bright sunny morning added beauty and colour to the merriment and the festive spirit.
The ceremony began with the unfurling of the tricolor by the Principal Mr Samson Masih followed by his address to the gathering. He congratulated the children for being the fortunate citizens of a democratic, socialist, sovereign Republic and reminded them of their duties toward country with bestows so many booms and bounties on them.
The cultural programme that followed the speech was studded with melodies patriotic songs and poems presented by the young students who sang to the glory of the nation.
As the nation decorated the laudable achievements of the people in various fields at the national level, DPS Pinjore honored its achievers who have done the school proud by participating and proving their mettle in various categories of different games.
The children, who have attained the meritorious positions in Computer Olympiad were also given medals and trophies along with the merit certificates. The programme concluded with recitation of the following verse.
We Indians are fortunate to have a democratic socialist Republic.
We enjoy many Rights, each and everyone in the Public
Lets pledge to fulfill our Duties towards nation
To make it prosper, initiating action with a passion.
