PANCHKULA, AUG 4
St. Xavier’s High School, Panchkula is organizing the 4th Chairman’s Soccer Cup on August 6 and 7 at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex here in Sector 3, according to Principal Geroge S Shear.
As many as 14 prominent schools have staked their claims for the top honours. Schools who have confirmed their entries are: Delhi Public School Pinjore, The Banyan Tree Chandigarh, Saupins’ School Panchkula, Holy Child Panchkula, Chaman Lal DAV School Panchkula , Saupin’s School Mohali, Jainindera Panchkula, Yadvindra Public School Mohali, Little Flower Convent School Panchkula, St. Kabir Chandigarh, Ryan International Chandigarh, St. Xavier’s Chandigarh, St. Xavier’s Mohali and St. Xavier’s Panchkula.
The opening match will be played between hosts St Xavier’s face Holy Child, also of Panchkula, at 7.30 a.m.
