Raksha Bandhan celebrated at Golden Bells

CHANDIGARH, AUG 23
Raksha Bandhan, a festival that symbolizes the deep love between brother & sister was celebrated with great fervour in the premises of Golden Bells Public School, Sector 77, Mohali.
Toddlers of Pre-primary wing created a total festive environment by tying up the rakhis on the wrists of their brothers and prayed for their well being. Brothers also wished them and pledged to take care of them. Students of primary section participated in Rakhi making competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. Whereas the students of middle classes highlighted the value attached to the festival and made beautiful Rakhi greeting cards. Senior girls decorated Thalis and boys decorated gifts on this occasion.
The young artists presented songs related to the day and stole the hearts of the audience. The children showered the dew of love and affection.
At the end, the Chairman spoke on the importance of festival and applauded the efforts of the participants and the teachers.
