CHANDIGARH, AUG 16
Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28 B celebrated 63rd Independence Day with zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration started with hoisting of flag by Mr Gurdev Singh Hayer, Chairman of the school along with the National Anthem, followed by the speech of Saunjanya Arya of K.G. A.
She spoke on the importance of Independence Day. Colorful items, skits, dances and patriotic songs were performed by the students. Prize distribution ceremony was also held for the students who excelled in sports. The atmosphere was totally filled with patriotic fervor.
Addressing the students Principal Sudesh Choudhry laid stress on the need to revive the feeling of patriotism. Sweets were distributed among the students.
