The Chandigarh Traffic Police today organized Road Safety Exhibition/Workshop at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Sector 27-B, here. During the road safety awareness programme SP/Traffic HS Doon, DSP/Traffic BS Negi, all Traffic Inspectors and L/SI Asha Sharma of Chandigarh Traffic Park participated.
Lecture on road safety was also delivered by Mr H.S. Doon. More than 250 persons participated in this road safety programme alongwith principal Mrs. Vineeta Arora and other school staff. More than 1000 literatures on road safety were also distributed to the participants.
To encourage community participation Mr. Gurnam Singh, Traffic Marshal was also participated. This is a regular road safety awareness programme in schools/colleges to impart basic training to the school/college students.
